WHY WAS SAVANNAH CANCELLED?
I thought I'd take this space to explain a question that I get ... a lot; Why was Savannah cancelled?
Well for starters, Savannah was moved from Sundays to Mondays against Football and our poor vixens couldn't take the pressure from that.
Secondly, according to the WB, serial dramas don't repeat well and making the investment to expensive. I'll add more later...

GEORGE EADS - A MIDSEASON FACE

Before the WB had David Boreanaz and James Van Der Beek, it had George Eads...and George Eads. Let us explain: The Texas Tech graduate starred in the short-lived, Aaron Spelling-produced prime-time soap Savannah, as the brothers Nick Corelli and Travis Peterson. (Since Travis was killed off in the pilot, the Nick character was developed as a way of bringing back Eads without resorting to resurrection.)
After the show was canceled, Eads popped up occasionally in TV movies and series, most notably on ER as the paramedic who stole Nurse Hathaway from Dr. Ross for a rooftop rendezvous. Now, he plays chiseled sportscaster Thumper on the CBS comedy Grapevine. The show probably won't make you weak in the knees, but Eads will surely show you the love.

Why You'll Watch: Those muscles and that smile. You'll understand why the folks on Savannah needed two of him.
